Tenant Fees Act commences 1st of June 2019
Alongside rent and deposits, agents and landlords will only be
permitted to charge tenants fees associated with:

1. Landlord Package:

We know that every client and every property is different and that our lettings packages need to reflect that individuality. At Qorbel we offer our landlords complete flexibility and tailor-made packages to suit their needs and their budget.


1. Tenant Find:

This is where the Landlord does not wish the Agent to undertake a Tenancy Management package. The Landlord would remain responsible for all other aspects of the letting including the maintenance of the Property, the safety of appliances and the legal responsibilities throughout the Tenancy.

The “Online” Service Fee must be paid in advance of the service being undertaken. The “Refined” Service Fee is payable at the commencement of the tenancy and will be deducted from monies received by the Agent on the Landlord’s behalf.

2 . Already Have Tenants:

No Problem. Let us take away the stress of managing a Tenancy. Just add the One Time Service Fee and the monthly fee of either the “Enhanced” or “Lifted Service”.

3. Tenancy Management:

Where the Landlord wishes the Agent to undertake the responsibility of finding a Tenant and managing the Tenancy thereafter. We help our existing Landlords maximise their return for a minimal outlay.

The Lettings industry is unregulated which means that anyone can set up a Lettings business. We are proud members of ARLA Propertymark where you can be rest assured that you are in safe hands. ARLA Propertymark agents agree to have their accounts audited annually, have client money protection (CMP), meet the highest standards in the industry and make a commitment to customer service.

What is your Property worth?

No two properties are the same. Our expert valuers can help you determine a fair price for both yourself and your Tenants. We provide a comprehensive comparable report of rentals in your area which allows us to price your property accordingly.

First Impressions count?

We can come up with a bespoke marketing plan to show your property in its best light so you can command the highest reasonable price possible.


If you have Tenants than we always provide them with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice about upcoming viewings.

Handling Offers

These are exciting times for the Landlord. We will review all offers and any requirements that the prospective Tenants may have ie like the removal or addition of furniture or remedial works.

Our prices are as stated with no hidden costs. Qorbel is not VAT Registered (subject to change).



Energy Performance Certificate, Gas Safety Record, Fixed Wiring & Portable Appliance Tests are charged at £85 (NO VAT) for each order placed.


Qorbel accept BACS Payments ONLY (Late payments will be charged at 3%)


An Inventory is recommended for all Tenancies. This is paid at the end of the Tenancy. (All Tenancies commencing from the 1st of June 2019 will mean the Landlord will be responsible for the Inventory Check in and Check Out due to the Tenant Fee Ban).

3. Client Money Protection Scheme

Every year, unprotected landlords and tenants lose money when their funds are misappropriated.

Under current legislation, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 made it a legal requirement for every lettings agent in England to display whether or not they are a member of a Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme.

Qorbel are members of ARLA Propertymark – the UK’s foremost professional and regulatory body for letting agents representing almost 9,000 members

The Propertymark Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme provides compensation for landlords and tenants when agents misuse or misappropriate their rent, security deposit or any other client funds.

Should this happen and a landlord is using a letting agent who is registered with ARLA Propertymark, the landlord can make a claim and Propertymark will arrange a reimbursement, subject to CMP scheme limits. You can view our membership certificate.
